The main aim of the Irish Elders Clubs for which IWIC is responsible, is to engage older people who are lonely and isolated in meaningful activities. The largest of the Clubs is the Tuesday Club which meets at the Irish Club in Digbeth weekly. IWIC has also a club in Handsworth. Activities such as keep fit, set dancing, games of bingo and refreshments are all part of the weekly meetings.
