Supporting People Project Worker

Hours: 36.5                                    Salary: £19427

This post is temporary funded until 31st March 2011

Working within the Supporting People Team your role is to provide flexible housing related support to Older Adults to enable them to live a more independent, safe and fulfilled life.  You will be developing support plans and ensuring they are implemented and reviewed, providing structured interventions to deliver the support plan and to provide support to the service user to achieve the desired outcomes.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointments are subjected to IWIC receiving an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau which we consider acceptable.

Trustees

IWIC is looking to appoint new members to the Board of Trustees to lead the organisation forward and add to the skills of the current Trustees.  The positions are voluntary but provide an exciting opportunity for close involvement with a local charity.  The Board has overall accountability for the charity and in addition to statutory duties; Trustees are expected to provide strategic direction and guidance to the Management Team

In particular IWIC is seeking the following:

Treasurer

You will have financial experience at a senior level and/or financial qualifications.  Knowledge of charity finance and skills in strategic planning are desirable.  Your role will be to support and advise board members, CEO and the Finance Committee who are responsible for the financial management of the organisation.

 

Board meetings are held every 2 months.
