The Gateway Team provides advice and information to people who call into the office or telephone with queries. They are the access point for all IWIC Services. Their work includes:
- Advising on Irish Pensions
- Requesting copies of Irish births, deaths and marriage certificates
- Providing information on returning to Ireland
- Trying to locate missing friends/relatives
- Late Registration of births
- Advice on obtaining Irish Citizenship
And any other query that comes their way....
The majority of referrals from other agencies, friends, relatives and self referrals pass through this office and are recorded and passed onto the allocation panel.
